Flex Media Factory has given the design of Vechtdal NL, a theme channel of Vechtdal FM, a new look this month. The station has been provided with a new jingle package, which has been thoroughly tackled. A new audio logo has been developed, and instruments have also been played live by Marco Riedijk of Crazy Accordeons, among others. Station voice is Edwin Diergaarde, known from Radio 10, among others.
The municipalities of Dalfsen and Ommen are served by RTV Vechtdal. On one of the three FM frequencies, the regional broadcaster does not broadcast Vechtdal FM, but theme channel Vechtdal NL. As the name suggests, this channel brings many pirate hits and oldies. FlexMediaFactory created a package with cheerful feel-good jingles with a “folky” touch. Based on the “Pineapple Plush” jingle theme as available on flexmediafactory.com/jingles, with additional accordion recordings, to give the “tropical gem” a completely different flavor and color.
Jens de Langer of Flex Media Factory, and responsible for the production: “Vechtdal NL was looking for truly musical jingles. With the help of session musicians, we succeeded in creating a fresh, tight and contemporary sound, which fits the DNA of the station and is nevertheless not standard for a station of this size and genre. The station is definitely a pioneer in this.” Gerard Binnenmars, station coordinator of Vechtdal NL: “We wanted innovative radio design for our NL & oldies station. The result is stunningly beautiful and we are very happy with it. With this package, our station has a recognizable sound of its own for the Salland region.”
